Neurodevelopment and Neurodiversity Annual Conference 2026 (NDAS2026)

calendar10:30 Monday, 29 June 2026 to 18:00 Tuesday, 30 June 2026

We welcome you to Durham for the 2026 neurodevelopment and neurodiversity conference!

Day 1 (29th June 2026) will feature a pre-conference workshop on the topic of translating research into practice and making an impact with your research in the field of neurodevelopment and neurodiversity. The pre-conference day will commence at 11am and run until approx. 4.30pm. Key themes for the pre-conference include: i) community engagement for making an impact, ii) implementation science for impacting clinical practice, healthcare, and education, iii) non-traditional and creative impact and engagement in our field of research. The day is aimed at researchers from all career stages, but especially early career researchers / PhD researchers. All welcome.

Day 2 (30th June 2026) will be the main conference day and will feature a selection of talks (two parallel sessions) and over 70 posters, as well as our early career and established keynote presentations.

The conference is especially supportive of postgraduate researchers and early career presenters and is the ideal place to come together with active researchers within our field - at a relatively small (max 150 people) and very friendly conference. This year the early career keynote is given by Megan Cutts (Manchester University) and the established career keynote is given by Prof Emily Farran (Surrey University).

The conference day runs from 9am (registration 8.30-9.00am) and ends at 5pm.
